Already Qualified?
If you already have diving
certification you are more than welcome to join Croydon BSAC.
We accept
divers from any training agency (PADI, SSI, SAA, IANTD, TDI etc etc)
into the club and can continue your training via BSAC's
SALT
chart.
Typically, those who are already
qualified come to the club
having gained a
PADI Open Water certificate. This qualification crosses
over to BSAC's
Ocean Diver grade, which means that after sitting a quick
"Intro to BSAC" session you can carry straight on with your diver
training.
If you have a more advanced
qualification, then you can continue your training, or if you'd prefer
just join up and get diving!
Note: UK diving is very different to diving
abroad, so some familiarisation with the techniques and equipment used
in the UK along with a shallow warm-up dive is advisable.
